Back to the vent again. Rubber was too thin so stuck some universal thin foam strip first then the rubber. Weighted down with a bit of rail line. The flap now lines up with the cowl. Maybe leave it a few days and see what happens.

Took the 33 out for a run on the weekend, all good until we ran into a downpour for about 10 miles. It's never leaked before?. Made sure vent & wind-out were closed and all OK. Reading up on some posts "should there be drain holes in the corner of the windscreen opening" None on my 33.

Had the 33 for a few years now and I've always relied on rainex as the wipers never worked. Decided to check things out. Motor is Trico KSB 416-2. The only listing I've seen is for a 1940-47.
