I am looking for a good running 289 or 302 Ford engine. Anywhere from mid 60's to early 90's. Going to convert to carburetor anyway. I would like to be able to hear run. Not looking for hot rod engine. Close to stock preferred. Preferably within driving distance of Coeurd'Alene Idaho or Spokane Wa.

Has anyone got any first hand knowledge putting a early extended bell Cadillac motor in a 40 Ford coupe using the adaptor ring to the stock 40 ford transmission? Are there any issues with the firewall exhaust oil pan or any other issues etc?

Are 59 flatheads worth repairing with 2 cracked seats? I was given one. Are repaired blocks prone to always be a problem? I know years ago I was told with 2 or more cracks it was worthless but I know times change and machine work is expensive. $125.00 an hour here.

Does anyone know how to install these Rojah ends? the hole on the backside is barely large enough for a wire to go through. Not large enough for the casing of the plug wire to fit through for support. Seems a little cheesy to me.

In the process of pulling my Stromburg E fire dist. of and installing a stock style crab dist. I need to use an adaptor because my timing cover is a 3 bolt style. Question is where does the distributor get it's vacuum? Does it use straight manifold vacuum? No vacuum ports on my 97's
