Does anyone know of a source for an illustration showing the proper installation of door seals on a closed cab vehicle. My Tudor seems be be lacking seals and channels, and I can't seem to find any photo or illustration showing what I (apparently) am missing. It is my understanding that each...
Sorry for the (perhaps) misleading title.
My question is: Where were the jack, jack handle, tools, etc stored in a 29 Tudor when the car was not equipped with a trunk?
The hub caps on a recently purchased Tudor seems to be lacking as to the way they are secured to the wheels. It seems someone has simply bent the ears on the hub cap (spread them open) and then added a little silicon caulk on the inside to stop the rattles.
I see that one of the parts supply...
I was not happy with the top speed of a recently purchased Tudor, so I started going over the engine hoping to find something obvious. In doing so I discovered that the throttle linkage (between the carb and the firewall) was bent to the point that the carburetor was only opening about 3/4 of...

Is this commonly done, or did someone take a shortcut because the assembly...
Just purchased two Model A engines at a local auction. One is a short block; the other is complete including water pump, distributor, carb, gen, starter, bell housing, clutch and trans. Total price: $300 Ye-ha!
The last time I started my 29 pick-up a large amount of water blew out of the tailpipe. Fearing the worst, I checked the oil. Yup, it was milky.
Drained the oil today and the first quart to come out was pure water.
How do I trouble shoot for a blown head gasket, etc?
1) My 29 Pick-up has a windshield that opens from the bottom (hinged at the top). Unfortunately, there is no mechanism to hold the windshield in the open position. Photos I have seen suggest that originally there was something on the side of the windshield that might have been for that...
Newbe here. Recently purchased a 29 Pick-up and the RF wheel is clearly miss-aligned. Looking from the front, the top of the wheel is leaning to the outside of the vehicle and tire wear is much more prominent on the outside edge of the tire. The left front wheel looks normal and tire wear is...
