Looking at installing a Mitchell overdrive in my 37 pickup with a V8 60. It has the stock 4:44 rear end and a newly rebuilt motor. Has anyone done this yet?

I have read that you don't get much gain from turbo charging a flatead. It's said that it's due to the exhaust running through the water jackets. Why is that? Exhaust pressure is what makes the turbo work, where does temp come in to play?

Have a 37 pickup with V8 60. Running a 97 with fresh rebuild. It starts and idles fine. When I give it the gas, it has a studder. It gets better when I close the choke half way. You guys have any thoughts?

I wired up my lights today. With the motor running and the lights off the ammeter reads just above zero. when is put the gas to it will go up to 20 or so. With the lights on it reads -20 and -10 when I gun the motor. I didn't seem right, so I thought I would ask you guys. Any thoughts?

I have a 37 Pickup, and the battery seems to go dead after I drive it around a little bit. It will run tell I trun it off my self, but the battery is dead when I go to start it right back up again. Im a kinda new at this, so dont laugh if this is a rookie question.
