I purchased a used replacement dash panel for my A, oval speedometer. In trying to install it today the screw holes do not line up. It's like it is too small. The top screws fit, but the bottom edge will not push in tight against the dash. And the screws holes are off about 1/2" on each side...

How does the speedometer cable get from the driveshaft to the speedometer? My Wagon didn't come with one and I have no idea of the route it should take. Thanks, Job

O.K. all the pieces are painted for the 29 Wagon cowl and I'm ready to assemble them together. Once they are assembled with the lacing is the whole assembly painted again? Or is the lacing left black?? Been a few years since I've seen one assembled and I just don't remember how it looked...
