    2014 f-150 hood release latch

The hood release lever in the cab will not pull back. I can tell that if I pull any harder the handle would likely break. Is there anything I can do to free the cable/hood latch up?

    2014 f-150 4 x 4, 6 speed automatictransmission concerns

What transmission issue could be causing these symtoms? Loud hum (much louder than tire noise) going down the road. Transmission does not always cycle through all 6 speeds. Occasional loud shucking sound of something in the vicinity of the transmission slamming forward along with a sheet...

    1950 overdrive transmissions

Is there any reason I should be leery of a 1950 Ford Club Coupe that has an overdrive transmission? A seller has told me that transmission was plagued with problems. This is the first I have heard of that.

How to reset a displayed message on a 2014 F-150

2014 F-150 with a 3.7 L V6. I change the oil & filter myself & keep track of mileage intervals & change accordingly. The problem is that I do not know how to reset the computer-generated message that states "Change Oil Soon". Could someone tell me how to reset this message? Thanks!

    2014 f-150 wiper controls

Despite the wiper switch being rotated to the fully off position, the wipers continue to cycle at what appears to be the slowest (longest interval between wipes) position. These are not "autowipers". The other functions on the same arm (high/low beam, directionals and washer control) continue...

PRESSURE GAUGE ABRUPTLY BOTTOMS OUT BELOW 1000 rpm

F150 W/ 3.7 liter V6. Once the engine has been running for 10 - 15 minutes (whether idling or under load), the pressure gauge bottoms out and the engine oil warning symbol and alarm go off as soon as the RPM's drop below 1000. As soon as the RPM's are brought back to over 1000 RPM, the gauge...

    1939 model 91a charging

With the ignition switch on & before starting the engine, the battery gauge needle does NOT rise above the lower mark on the gauge. The engine must be at a sustained high idle to even keep the needle just the thickness of the needle below the N (normal) range (will NOT go into the "normal"...

1939 MODEL 91A Hand Throttle Linkage

The one and only time I attempted to use the hand throttle, it leaked gas where the linkage connects to the carb. From what I observed and what I have been hearing, it looks like there may not be a fix to this. Before I replace the carb, is there a way to prevent this from leaking other than...

1939 MODEL 91A Side view Mirrors

I am looking to replace the side view mirror assemblies and see where they are connected to the upper door hinge. I cannot see any way to readily disconnect the mirror arms from the hinges. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    Jacking 1939 model 91A

If I place the jack under the rear bumper arms as depicted in the Ford "Reference Book," the body goes up but not the tires. What am I doing wrong? Otherwise, my only alternative is to use a floor jack under the differential? This would not be practical if I had a flat out on the road.
