I installed a "leakless" water pump on my '30 Coupe. It has less than two hours running time on it and leaks from a weep hole located on the mounting flange. Anyone else experience this?

I have a rebuilt carb on my car and I'm running much too rich. I get nothing from either adjustment. Timing checks out okay and consistent.
