I'm back to the windshield again. Does the headliner AND tacking strip have to be removed to provide room for the seal and glass from the inside? Kube's book states the windshield is a loose fit and is held in by the garnish. I certainly am not encountering a loose fit. Am I doing something...

Has anyone had success with using weatherstrip cement instead of the provided non-authentic flathead countersunk screws to fasten the rubber cowl lacing. Maybe the heat and vibration would be a concern? Thanks.
