‘29 Coupe… relocate seat rearward Q. Anyone here moved seat for more leg room ? Question: Does seat riser need removal OR moved ? A guy who is doing the work, is asking ! Does the slanted riser need to be removed to make floor flat or how is seat secured safely?

Oil capacity Q… Rutherford oil pan use on 32 B block q…. Anyone have experience with this equipment, who might know oil capacity of the Rutherford pan ?

‘29 radiator value… opinions. In your experience/opinion, what are ‘29 radiators worth ? I have a repaired original… no leaks. Also have a replacement/copy , that is like new. The replacement, although very similar to original… is not exact. Filler neck is slight deviation. Thanks for your help !

Are all rear radius rods same size , that is- ‘28 thru ‘31 ? Are they interchangeable? I have a spare set that measure about 58 in length. I cant get under cars right now to check lengths. I’m thinking they all are same length ??

Frame rivets… or … weld ? I have to replace the front cross member on ‘30/31 frame. This is just driver/beater, but want a good strong job. Do parts houses sell rivets ? Welding will most likely be easier and strong. I haven't riveted, since my last riveted C 130 Hercules in the 60s. Had to...

Gas bowl Q… Did model As all have just ONE size glass fuel bowl. Or was there different sizes for different years ? I have a broken 1929 bowl. I guess all bowls are same….except for length.

Exh gasket cond. Q…. Any thots as to what would/ caused the conditions of these two gaskets. Besides them being cheapest examples Ive seen. Maybe can make out ‘cheeriots’ written on one side … lol

Among the parts that make up a model A gas guage, are a variety of ‘gaskets’. Among the gaskets… is a brass band/ring/gasket. QUESTION: Without guessing, can anyone explain the function(s)/reason for existence of this metal ring(s), in gas gauge ? Also, IF THIS IS A proper gas gauge part…...

I have gas gauge out. Problem is, the TANK threads are gummed badly with some “sealer”. Need suggestions on how to get the tank threads clean…..without all the sealer ending up inside the tank ! Or should I just try to reseat the gauge with the crud still there ?
