Replaced the master cylinder on my 1949 Ford. The fitting on the back of the cylinder where the brake light switch is will not stop leaking. Changing the throw out bearing on a 1949 Ford three on the tree. Can’t find the clutch fork anti rattle spring. It’s just a small u shapped wire that holds the clutch fork tight from rattling. No one sells it anymore. Is there a replacement for the original?

Having hard time shifting my three on the tree. Found that one of the shifter levers is actually leaning against the clutch adjustment rod. Even after adjusting the rod it still hits. Only thought I have would be to bend the rod. Does anyone have another solution? thanks

I have a 1949 Ford Flathead V8 with a bad starter. The car has been changed over to 12 volt but the starter is the original. Should I replace it with a new 6 volt or just go with a new 12 volt. If I use the 12 volt starter do I have to change anything else.
