Looking for good hood for 54 merc monterey that can be shipped to alaska. Hood latch failed at 55 mph. Aint pretty!

Booster seems to check out ok but when I push the pedal, it obviously loses vacuum to the point that engine almost dies. Have 16 in vacuum at manifold connection. Can find no hose leaks. Looks like a rebuild but want some expert opinions.

Need to change neutral safety switch on my 54 merc to one that will allow it to start in park as well as neutral. What switch will work?? Any hints on shifting the new switch so as to make more room for the dual exhausts I am installing. Need help!

Anybody know where I maybe can find a master cyl or repair kit for my 54 merc Monterey with power brakes? Nobody seems to list one for power brks. Have found an old booster/cyl but want to rebuild before installing. Sent my original setup out for rebuilding but ended up having to junk it...

Seem to recall an old school story about not setting up an elec pu8mp to push fuel thru the original manual pump as, if the original pump diaphragm ruptured you would be pumping fuel direct into the oil pan. Any comments?

Putting dual exhausts on 54 merc and need to move the neutral safety switch up to clear the stock dual exhaust manifold. Must have been a stock bracket for it but can't find one. Any ideas
