Is there anyone still making floorboards for 38 Fords?

I’ve removed the nine screws but now I’ve discovered that the glass has been set with some sort of sealant instead of glass setting tape. Is there any hope for getting the two halves apart?

I need to replace the wires going to my horns and horn relay but my Weller gun doesn’t have enough wattage to melt the old solder joints. What wattage irons do you guys use for these joints? Thanks

Have any of you peeled the stainless steel skin off the steel base to fix dents and deep scratches? How difficult is it to do? Are there any tricks? Also, on most of the ones you see the blue paint on the key cover is worn away. Is there a paint that holds up better? Thanks!

I dropped the oil pan from my late '38 engine and found that the oil pan baffle has been cut out. How necessary is the baffle? Is it time to look for a new pan? Thanks

I'm trying to disassemble the spring off my 38 Standard. Is there a way to do it without cutting the rivets on the spring clips? If I have to cut a rivet how do I get it re-riveted? Thanks!
