Quick question here. Can't seem to find anything on the proper way to install the eccentric rivet in the steering box. Does the high point of the rivet go up or down? Found nothing in the service bulletins or the red book. Thanks for the help. Jim

    Rear hub won't turn

I know, wrong place to ask...but! I changed the brakes over to juice. All went well until I installed the tire on the right rear. Wheel turns free until I tighten the lug bolts. Any ideas on what to be looking at? Hubs and drums are all new from speedway. I ask same question on the HAMB...

    Cracked block!

Well guys, I pulled the old head and found why I have water in my oil. It goes from the water passage, across the block and extends about 1/8" into number 2 cylinder. Do I need to sleeve the cylinder ad have the block welded and decked or what is the proper fix? I had planned on building a...

I'm thinking it's time for a new head gasket..

Fired the old girl up today and noticed some seepage around the head. This could explain the water in the oil that I noticed on the last oil change. Compression readings today were all around 53 to 58. Think I should do the high compression head also. What is the best head to go with? I've...

Tudor sedan rear window frame supports?

I have looked at a thousand photos of the rear window panels and can't see how any of them tie in to the body except for the rivets to the bottom support. Mine does not have the bottom support that ties in to the body. I have fabricated a piece of 18 gauge angle to rivet it to but can't figure...

Does anybody make a patch panel for the upper part of the cowl? I've looked at more catalogs and can't find anything. Is this a builder fabricated part? Hope not cause I not to good at that yet. Photo attached.

Finally! Frame is painted and body in primer!!

After a lot of sanding, welding, repairing old patch panels, the frame is finally painted. I got the frame painted and covered up and started on the body. After a couple of weeks repairing some old work done by the po, it got a couple of good heavy coats of epoxy primer this morning. Now on...

    Think I'm missing something!

After looking at tons of interior pics of all of your cars, I just realized I might be missing some trim pieces. The bottom trim that holds the side panels in are missing. Does anyone have a size for these? Also, do the rear windows on a tudor standard have window regulators. Also, I'm missing...

Today I started taking the body off in hopes of finding the vin on my car. Well it seems as though the frame is pretty rough in that area and it cannot be read. I also took some dims on the gas tank because I couldn't find a build date on it either or it's covered with paint. Any thoughts...
