    Help Identify This Horn

I have a '29 ccpu with an odd-looking horn. Is this a standard Model A horn or something out of a previous owner's parts bin? It works and sounds like a bull bellowing rather than a sharp high tone. Any ideas as to the origin? No markings on the case at all.

    Spare Tire Bolt Removal

Got a side-mount spare on my 29 CCPU. One of the bolts that holds the spare has threads that are worn to the point that a lug nut will not hold securely. The bolt has a square section where it passes through the plate. Can't tell if it is swedged or not, but tapping on it did not seem to...

    Rim Flaps for Model A?

Dry rot forces me to buy new tires for my 29 CCPU. One tire has been removed from the rim and have found pitted rims but no rim liner or rim flap. The inside of the rim has been coated with some material that has made the pitted area very smooth. Looks like either a glossy undercoating material...

    Nu-Rex Generator Cutout

THIS ITEM HAS BEEN SOLD. Unused Nu-Rex Semi-Conductor Generator Cutout replaces the original relay type. Previous owner said generator worked fine, but needed a cutout. HE LIED! Generator is "fried" - no output. Replaced generator with an alternator. Cutout is identical to original exterior...

    Removing Window from 29 CCPU

Glass in both doors of my 29 CC pickup do not crank easily because track inserts are "chewed up". I want to replace the track inserts, but it hasn't been easy to remove the glass from the track. Removed the screws from the upper trim and garnish molding. The garnish molding came off easily...

    What Is It?

Found this laying in the bottom of my 1929 Ford CCPU transmission after I removed it yesterday. Anybody have a clue what it is? It's a little over 2" long and 3/4" wide with a riveted post that is about 3/4" tall.

    Transmission Removal 1929 CCPU

Today, finished pulling all the bolts needed to pull the transmission from my 1929 closed cab pickup. Decided to pull the rear end out and drop the transmission that way (seemed easier than pulling the engine). Got the transmission backed out of the clutch splines, but transmission didn't have...

    Clutch Release Fork Jammed

Proud owner of a '28 Closed Cab Pickup. But I have quite a problem with the mating of the throwout bearing hub and the clutch release fork arms. While lubricating the hub, I didn't push straight down on the zerk fitting and the hub spun counter-clockwise about 40 degrees. Somehow the release...
