anyone have any ideas on where to purchase a new glass kit for the 39 sedan? will need glass for sure, fogged out and craked up.:rolleyes: found one kit on ebay for the glass alone, I dont think it included seals. Trying to find glass and possibly some chrome trim and definatly need a new gas...

I have taken the body off of the frame now and am wondering, where do I find the VIN number on the 1939 ford standard sedan :confused:, I will need it for when the beast is put back together. The car has no papers whatsoever so I will need to register it and what not....

We got the body off the frame of the 39 today and have now removed the gas tank. After a lot of banging and a lot of shop vac action most of the 1/4" of re-fossilized fuel is out of the tank.. does anyone have any ideas on what eats this stuff? we have tried all kinds of corrosive stuff and...

I am beginning my 1939 ford project and have now disassembled all body panels from the car. I am in the process of working on trying to fix some terrible weld repairs that were done by the previous owner and am stuck with what to do with the large tears in the front of the fender. I am brand new...

does anyone know where I can find a service manual or chassis manual for the 1939 ford standard sedan? There isnt a lot out there that I can find. All help will be appreciated! :)
