Ok. New generator from Macs. Have tried two cutouts, one with diode conversion. I have ground wiresfrom body and moror to frame. Original 6 volt positive ground. The amp gauge shows discharge. My volt meter shows discharge at battery. Original amp gauge must be working as it shows more negative...

My generator died. No luck buying local such as NAPA. 40 engine and generator has cutout mounted on top. So, I need to make sure I order right generator.So what year do I order? Thanks. Mike.

Putting back together after many years. Staying 6 volt. I have a horn that will blow when I test it @ battery. Mounted it on firewall, good ground, ran wire to a new after market button, then to horn. All it does is click! Thoughts ??

My 35 coupe has 40 hyd brake system, and is missing the caps. I bought new aftermarket. Spent two hours trying to make one fit. They are the press in style. Any thoughts? Anyone got a couple of original? Need not be perfect, but usable.

I have bought a 35 coupe and have read that some are running 215-70r-16 tires. I want to use the stock 16 wire wheels. Any input?
