    Melbourne (AU) Flathead event

For those of us in the colder Melbourne, the Flathead Festival is on again at the end of this month at the Caribbean Gardens & Market. Details at the link below. I should be there in the '41, unless it's pouring with rain. Although we haven't had much this winter so far...

    Air cooled flathead

I posted this photo on the end of another thread but I think it's worth discussing further. What is benefit vs effort in putting so many holes into a flathead block?! Photograph courtesy of Go Cat Speedshop. Originally posted on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/p/BTCHWzUFJsC/ -tony.

    Battery solenoid cable

Hello gents, The original battery solenoid cable for a '41 Ford (I'm assuming at least 40-48 to be the same) - part number 78-14300 - what is the length of this cable and is the eyelet size 5/16 or 3/8? stock gauges reading high / incorrect

Hello gents, what would be the cause of the standard Ford gauges reading high? Bad sender units, incorrect wiring somewhere or they just need to be re-calibrated? For me, it's the temp gauge on a fairly stock 6 volt '41. Thanks.

    Accidently left ignition on

Hi all, I accidently left the ignition on my '30 A turned ON. I know I have a dead battery now. What other damage have I done? Burnt out coil? I'm yet to check it over... just wanting to know what to look for first. Thanks!

    accessory full wheel covers

Just curious, how rare are these accessory full wheel covers and is there any chance in finding a set in decent condition today? I think Ford called them rustless wheel covers in the accessories brochure. These look to be for '41. Thanks. -

Correct setup for crab style distributor

Hi all, I've been reading (a lot) about coils, condensors and ballast resistors (mostly threads from Bubbas Ignition) and I'm just looking for clarification on the correct setup for my crab style distributor. Below are a few photos and what I'm thinking has happened to my 1941 Ford prior to my...

    1941 instrument panel

Hi everyone. I'm a long time observer but this is my very first post. I was hoping someone could help me out with a '41 instrument panel. I'd like to take the glass off to clean the inside of the glass. Is there a way of doing this without pulling the dash completely apart? Thanks! -tony.
