My friend asked my help to identify the car in this picture. The picture of his mother and himself was taken in California 1940 when he was only months old. To me it appears to be a 30/31 Ford Roadster, all opinions welcome.

Does the tail lights for a Roadster Pickup mount on the fenders or with a bracket under the bed? I find images for each mounting position. Seems under the bed would be best as mounted on the fender the light would only be visible directly behind the vehicle.

About to install the gas tank in my 31 Coupe. Anyone care to share your do's and don't when installing the tank, welt, and filler strip. All helpful hints appreciated. Really concerned as to getting the welt in place under the filler strip and between the tank and cowl. Thanks.
