On gas run, vmeter barely moved. It has worked Ok the last few months. after run, I cleaned the communicator, tightened the cutout connections, tapped the cut out. Charged the battery I need to get 5 miles to a show tomorrow with pretty girls... Am I good to go???

My control rod for the throttle will not stay where I put it. The serrations on the onto column lip are warn smooth. Do I need to remove the control rod and bend it? Please, what are my options? I start with my hand on the lever.
