Just want to know on a ford-o-matic/merc-o-matic torque converter. Is there a one way reassembly of the plate and cover? Or are both pieces balanced separate and neutral. I planned on marking the converter before opening it to replace o-ring seals but like an idiot I didn’t.

Where can I get a gasket/seal kit from. Or who is the guru of these transmissions and knows the part numbers and where to get parts. Need a seal kit and converter o ring for my mercomatic

Hey everyone. On a Halibrand 101 qc for model a tubes. Is there a special carrier to use so it will not interfere with the main shaft ? Or do you just machine the carrier to clear the shaft. Any help appreciated.

Does anyone have part numbers for all the bearings/parts needed to a halibrand 101 case. I know hotrod works has the pinion shaft and lower shaft that fit. Are the 101 and 201 all the same bearing sizes ?

I forgot or just having a brain fart but I installed my aluminum timing gear on my D&L cam. Put it in the motor (‘37 21 stud) and thought the crank gear had a timing dot like the later flatheads but none to be found. Timing gear has the dash near the teeth but don’t know what to line it with on...
