I no longer had my dash top rail,I don't even remember selling it . Well it hasn't been back together for some time now,I took my 28A apart in 1965. Here is what I did,made a wood one and rear rail too,so here is a photo or two.:D

I used a box tube of 5/16in. ID,cut off one side giving me a chanel that is good for glass. With a 4in. grinder remove the rusted out chanel part so I can put in needed new chanel. Here is a photo of how my headers I just made for my Ford Y-292 came out,they are a old set off a SBChevy that I got from a buddy that still have nice chrome. I cut chevy flage off and spread center pipes to match Ford ports and welded them to Ford flange.
