Anyone run across a defective gear? Customer engine giving me heartburn from a knock at the timing gears. Confirmed cam was walking Short story long, found uneven wear pattern on the drive gear replaced and cam is no longer smacking timing cover. Have yet to test run.

Would this missing plug be a culprit ? Everything else looks good. No excessive end play. Gasket changed already. I can watch it run down the cap from the rear.

Ran across this pan with removable lower flywheel section but noted it has no oil breather. Cant figure out its intended use.., i know 32-35 never had a removable rear section or oil filter return. Ideas?

I am installing new wood in a pickup box and would like to know if there is any preferred way to seal it before installing and painting that wont adversely affect the topcoat. The old wood was epoxy primed and painted but still split and weathered bad from water. Thnx

So have to ask what is the correct measurement from back of cover to the fingers? Im reading 11/16 or 3/4 depending on the source. Ive checked some old pressure plates with new disks and usually get 7/8 or close. Does it really matter what it is as long as they are all set the same?

I havent found much info regarding this type seal. I dont think they are available currently. Has anyone got any feedback as to how well they work. Or dont?

Ive been trying to figure out an issue with rebuilt pressure plates and correct finger height. The disk is about .365 thick. Distance from flywheel disk face to plate mounting surface is 1.135. Not far off from 1.123 the books call for. On the rebuilt plates im getting finger heights at 1 1/8...

So if the pics load here is a new one on me. Set of FMco rods from a 8ba have the oil squirt holes in a different location so the holes in bearings dont line up? Rod next to it is from another set for comparison. Anyone else seen this? Prob not worth the effort to drill new holes. Whatta yall...

Got this last weekend. With a little work it should be good to go. With the number T rebuilds ive gotten lately i figure it will be handy in the shop.

Anyone familiar with ford rotunda shoe arcing grinder? It doesnt use a drum like the aamco machines. It looks like it uses adhesive sanding disks much like a belt/ disk sander. Would like a value for it if possible. Thanks
