I do have it set up exactly like the diagram and message number 3 with a relay still no spark even tried another distributor with a adapter for regular coil still couldn't get any Spark

My 59 AV in my 35 has 1 piston it doesn't move probably broken Rod or something. I do have a running 8ba on a stand looks like they should swap easily any thoughts thanks

I do have it set up with a relay that has its own push button start on the relay set up exactly like the illustration and post number 3. Still no spark I tried my distributor with one of those adapters and let you run a regular coil still no spark. Could it be my distributor caps?

Well somehow I managed to melt my coil maybe it's time for electronic ignition

Okay I'll take a moment and explain better thanks for your help. Have a 6 volt battery negative side going directly to starter. Coil connected to the same negative side of battery with an inline resistor. I take the positive side of the battery and ground it to the block that makes the engine...

Still trying to get spark out of my 59 a b. I have a rebuilt distributor what seems to be a good coil. Just have it hot wired to the battery into the start of now. When I crank the motor I get no power to the coil when the motor isn't turning over I have power.. any suggestions? Thanks Rich 6...

Thanks guys, I do not have spark after doing the coil test I'll take the distributor off and see what I see. If I was going to replace or rebuild the whole thing any suggestions?

Direct to battery so have current, how do I check spark out of the coil? Not sure what all teams but it's a 6 volt with a resistor in it.
