Looked over the points, and they were not closing all the way. Reset the points, hooked up the fuel line, and tried it. The thing took off right away, with little cranking. Runs really smooth, but need to do some carb adjustment. THANKS for the advice fellas, Wingnut

I have a '37 flathead . I dont have alot of history on it. Its a 85 hp. What I have done to it is new points, condenser, plugs, plug wires, new inner caps with good used outer caps. Have cleaned the inside of the engine, and stripped the outside of the engine and new paint on everything...
