No brian, the last two responses answered my question, thanks everyone for all your help, there is so much disinformation out there it can get quite confusing as to what is correct and what is not.
Yes, but I've been told there is an extra brace on open cars with two bolts going thru floor and thru extra brace but the bob drake A pillar only has one hole that goes thru the frame rail. Just trying to figure out what is correct for the roadsters as I need to rebuild mine?
Trying to clear up some misguided information. I have seen some threads on here that the only cars that had the extra cowl brace was the convertible sedans and cabriolets. I have a 36 roadster and need to replace my lower A pillars as they are gone and am not sure what they are suppose to look...
I am looking for a pair of 5W coupe scuff plates in USEABLE condition or new. Seems these have been on back order now for well over a year and might be another year or longer, I am missing mine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Does anyone have a pic of what the bottom of the side cowl looks like? Mine are gone and I am thinking there is suppose to be two cage nuts for the front fenders to bolt to?
Does anyone know if there is any welting between the frame and the floor pans on the 36. I am doing a frame off restoration and someone prior to me has had the body off and I see no signs of any welting or spacers between the frame and floor pan along the rails and X member? Any help in this...
I am not sure what the technical name is for this part, but I am looking for a 36 oval headlight bracket that goes between the headlight housing and the fender headlight risor. I think this is what tilts the headlight and locks it into place when tightened.
I am looking for a complete 1936 ford spare tire locking mechanism for my roadster. I have everything except all parts related to the spare tire lock, Cone, springs, cylinder, lock etc.
