Is there such a thing as electronic ignition for a 39 6 volt? Do I have to convert to 12 volt?

Have read all the posts since your first entry. I also have a 52 with the same symptoms as yours, have tried several things from these posts and still never know if it is going to switch or not. Very frustrating to say the least!! Have you conquered the problem, if so, what did the trick? Bill

I am considering changing the ignition on my 52 Victoria to an electronic system. I am curious if those that have tried it find it to be a worthwhile upgrade. I have always felt that the ignition on the flat heads to be shakey, at best, I would hope that this will make it foolproof. Thanks.
