    Split rims

    I think the problem is the radials are a lot wider then your rims. I'm not saying it won't work, but.... You will also need radial inner tubes. I have a Studebaker I plan to put some new 17's on, (if I can get the old ones off).

    Is there a tutorial on putting back together wood wheels? I picked up a rim with spokes, but no hub. I bought a hub someplace else. The spokes are really fighting me to lay flat.     Are you saying all 21" are split rims?

    ATF in engine oil

    ATF still has Zinc in it. Modern oils don't anymore. This may be partly why someone would recommend using ATF. I believe diesel oils still have zinc in them.

    Trying to scrounge up parts for my 26 touring. I see wood wheels that say they are for split rims. Is there a difference in wheels? Can non splits be used and vise versa?
