    front spring perch mounts

The holes in my 1930 fordor front axle for mounting the spring perch are worn. I wonder if anyone is repairing such; perhaps boring the hole and pressing in sleeves? Otherwise I think I can only search for someone ditching their from axle for a Mustang 2 or a drop axle. Has anyone heard of such...

    Shocks

John Holland rebuilt my 1930 model A front shocks. He described them as "not original" but well made and re-buildable. He said most are not worth rebuilding. I've had them a month and have put on a few hundred miles on them; no leaks.

    Camber adjustment

The front driver side tire is wearing more on the outside edge than the rest of the tire. Other issues with my front end suggest I have a faulty axle that should be replaced. Will replacing the axle also put the camber in proper alignment?

    pop out test

I'm not getting power to the distributor. I removed the cable screwed into the distributor, turned the key on, I grounded a TestFlight and touched the tip of the connector that screws into the distributor; no power. Can I change to a non pop out switch? but how to get the power to the distributor?

1930 1931 Model A Ford Accessory Tool Box

I read somewhere that the maker of a front sloped toolbox stopped making them due to complaints but he was willing to dispense the drawings for it should anyone wish to make their own. Are YOU that person? if so, do you still have the plans and are you willing to share them?
