Do they sell positive ground led's?

I think I found the problem, a leak at the intake, the gaskets were burnt through. Have just ordered copper gaskets.

By all means replace it. We just had a young mechanic locally die from a fan blade that flew off and severed the artery in his neck. A very tragic death.

Is this different than the A muffler? Also different hanger clamps.

Does anyone make the housing that the adjusting wedge screws into? Mine have the threads stripped and would like to replace/ or repair/helicoil.

It looks like the ones that suggested it is the intake manifold leaking win. A friend, that is a county fleet mechanic showed me a trick. Spray some ether around the intake. It showed up right away. It sure looks like it is tight against the gasket. Thanks again to all who chimed it with...

Thanks for all the help. I put manifolds back on and torqued. engine started but still have a little backfire when accelerating. I have an idea it may be a valve that may not be seating properly. I did check the points, set at 18, checked gap of rotor, set at 25. The carburator did respond to...
