I was fortunate to have my shoebox invited to the party for the Custom Design Class and oddly enough it won the gold ribbon for Best Design. Interetsting that all 3 judges were the designers for the big three. I was in California with my roadster on the same day and my friend Bill Jagenow drove...
I am looking for some gauges for a 39 Mercury dash cluster in decent shape. Oil, temp.gas and battery, speedo, anything in good shape will be better than what I got. Maybe the entire cluster??? TBJ
I've already chopped the stands 1 1/4 inches and I am using 36 Buick headlights. I had to graft the inner support of the 35's to the Buick pots. Any pics??
Does anyone reproduce or make the long bolt that holds the headlight pot to the fender brace and has a hole through it for the wiring? I can't seem to locate anything. Thanks I'm told they are not available.
Here is a few shots of the before and after. A total of 11 weeks of the chop can be seen at http://s248photobucket.com/home/timebombjohn/allalbums It's been a fun ride since the roadster has been done.
