A stromberg 81 model has a cfm flow of like 145 cfm and a 97 is like 154 cfm, not a big differnece. Now a late 39-40 ford-holley model 92 which came on v8-60s is 152 cfm flow. Both 81 carbs are a 7/8 bore and a 97 is a 15/16 bore, not a big difference there either. Its not the carb model its the...

Just put it in high gear and slip the clutch, the tank should be under 1000 pounds and with the push of car that can go faster the tank it self it should be no problem. I am hoping for 120mph but we will see. Hard to go to fast with only 125 or so horse power.
