4:30. Well ****, I was all ready to ask you if you'd be interested in giving me a credit toward my shock cores. Supply and demand says... "yeah, no". lol.
Honestly though, I've bought probably a third of my fordor from you.
“New Earth”. Now there’s a name I haven’t heard in a long time…. Lol
Sorry I just saw the question.
No. The tank was rusted out just under ridge that runs along where the top and bottom are crimped together.
Can anyone tell me the dimensions eye to eye on a front spring please?
I've search the barn I've search the web and haven't been able to find what I consider a definitive answer.
Thank you

I went last fall and there were considerably less “vendors”. I assume it was because Covid was still messing with things. Planning on going to this next one, hoping more stalls will be full.
In The “back in the day” you’re waxing poetically about, parts guys had to worry about the big three and maybe three other brands, correct? Ford, Chevy and chrysler/molar and then like packard and Buick? There’s five year run from 1935-40 where most of the Ford stuff didn’t really change that...
Welcome. Have a fordor myself. Planning on reversed springs and maybe lose a leaf or two.
Looking forward to see ping what you do and how it turns out.

I tried a small hand held mapgas torch first, with no luck. Then I ended up using a propane fueled weed burner and a harbor freight 12 ton press. And some luck and fortune.

We were cleaning up the frame tonight and once we got past the rust we found these cracks. Can I just “weld them up” and it be ok?
