    Paint pinhole problem

I really need more info to help. The previous posts couild be correct, you could also have some issues where you have pinholes in the filler that are just appearing. Get a magnifying glass and find out how deep the holes are. Are they only where the filler is? Have you followed the min and max...

Don't you like to see it before you buy it??

My wife is a cop, I teach shop at a tech school. You would be surprised the stuff she sees and hears that never makes the paper. You shouldn't be surprised at the lengths I have to go to to keep things from growing legs at work. Noone comes to our house to look at something for sale because we...

I editted my post shortly after posting it. I read it as a smart aleck comment, which I see now it was not. My sincere apology.

    Primer

We have a local jobber that has done the same with UTech, the PPG rep has threatened to pull their distributorship. I have never understood why a jobber would do this, most just don't understand. There is absolutely no advantage to them to do this, except of course, the financial kickbacks to...

    Primer

For chip reduction, on a single stage add flex additive. On a BC/CC activate the base and use a flex in clear. CHECK WITH THE PAINT MFG. TO BE SURE THIS IS ACCEPTABLE! PPG has told me it is OK with DBC base and the Deltron clears.

    Primer

I am a PPG user but have also used some UTech products. I would never advise mixing two different brands of product on the same car. Once you get to the stage of needing primer, stick with that brand thru to topcoat. PPG has a value line called OMNI that is fully compatible with their Deltron...

    Sandblasting powercoated parts

If it won't sandblast off you have found a good powdercoat company. Not all powdercoating is equal, use the one that doesn't sandblast off.

    Masking tape tip,,, "Thank's"

That's the way I have done it in 25+ years in the body shop. Pulling the tape back 180 degrees on itself instead of pulling it 90 degrees to the surface also helps reduce peeling paint.

Acetone/ATF home brew for stuck engines?

What is the old Ford stuff called? I remember Dexron and the Ford style from years ago but don't know the name to ask for.

Yes, big problem. It is too messy, I have been using sand. Lasts longer and cleaner.

TP Tools small turbine HVLP system question

I agree. These are a step above a Wagner Power painter, about 20 year old technology. They were an attempt when HVLP guns were just coming around. They were the BETA vs. the old HVLP being VHS. We know who won that battle. BTW, we now have a lot better HVLP guns just like we have better...
