Ah, that explains a lot. I've been trying to secure then against a flat surface, either a washer or a tube that fits over the bolt. I've got a bit of thinking to do. Many thanks

Hi all Does anyone have a schematic for how headlights are fitted to the light bar. Full disclosure, I'm not an A type owner, but I'm fitting some replica Model A headlights to a kit car in the UK. They seem to have the standard, ball & slot fittings, but I can't seem to get them securely...
