Trying to remove steering drag link on 38 sedan. I removed cotter pin and nut but do not want to tap to hard to drive out-what is the best way to drive link out with out damage-Thx

Yep sure is just pull and twist- Just remember to push it back in or the Odometer will not turn over:)

Guys-Did the 38 Standard come from the factory with the Wheel (tire) Stainless trim rings? My 38 Standard has the smooth ones on it-but a lot of the pictures I see of 38 Standards the rings are missing. :)

BanjoQ-Sorry bring a junior member did not mean to be a smart a**. This is what some of us do in Texas to keep the car original and have been pulled over with no issue as long as we can show the proper issued antique plate-Guess our State and Locals are more antique car friendly��

Just put your nice original plates back on your truck and carry the new ones issued you in the cab. If you are pulled over which is very unlikely-pull out your new plates-if a cop pulls you over it is just to have a good look at you wonderful truck-if you have to be inspected -put on the new...

Guys-I removed the lock cylinder out of the Trunk Handle on my 1938 Ford Standard Sedan to take to a locksmith to get re keyed. He says the cylinder is shot and I need to find a new one. Does anyone no of a source for this lock cylinder? It is the one that has the little locking pin that sticks...

The repop works fine now that I got the locking part inside the door to rotate. I went to the repop until I can get my original rekeyed. Thanks Guys
