Years Ago I Had A Gas Tank With A Lot Of Crud In The Tank. After Washing The Tank Out Several Times. I Ran A 1/4 x 18 ? Short Pipe In The Tank Approximately 1/4 Inch Above The Inside Bottom Of The Tank. I Then Put A Fitting On The Bottom Of Tank For Shut Of Valve. That Worked Great. Please Dry...

I Use A Different Bracket That I Bought At a Swap Meet A Few Years Back. It's Chrome Holds Two Gauges And Bolts To The Sterring Column, It Works Great !!!!

Several Parts Houses Sell A Short tube with a fitting for a temp. sending unit that fits in the top radiator hose. I have used them in the past worked great

It's Been A while, As I Remember I Took The Cable Housing Off On Both Ends, Pulled The Cable Out With Pliers From The Speedo End. As Long As Your Cable Is In Good Shape It Probably Just Needs Some Lube. !!!
