what if......a 3/4race offenhauser eqp'd 239cid flathead found its way under the hood of my 1989 ford ranger 's' w/it's 3.73's..? that would at least keep me from going with svt 2.3l turbo set up...

Very familiar with engine,its history and potential but not in the groove when it comes to value. Just for the record,it is from the truck the owner (foolishly)removed it from,isnt frozen up and naturally would take a bit of coaxing to start ......any value in regards to transmission? $500.00...

i know where there is a complete 1947 v-8 and 3-speed taken out of a '47pickup, non-molested,bone stock. can you all give me some ball-park figures on its possible monetary value??
