JB Weld has no business on any Model A or AA, anywhere, ever. I got burned because a previous owner used JB Weld, $1200 later and 5 hours of unnecessary labor.

Enfield Auto Restoration in Enfield, CT and Twin Brooks Restoration in Suffield, CT, both do Blue Ribbon Restoration. They both have a resume to prove it. Both have done numerous Model A's.

What part of the Best Copper head gasket faces up from the block? Les books says chimp face down toward the block. I have been told otherwise because the crimp could mark the deck permanently. Please give me the FACTS:eek:. Thank you.

What is the best way to change the horn rod on a 28 Closed Cab Pickup truck? 1) Can I unbolt it from the frame and slide it down towards the ground, leaving the steering wheel on? Will this give me enough room to slide the rod out in the cab? 2) Or pay someone else to do it?:D Thanks, guys.

Hello Group, Which way does the rear axle Key taper install on the axle? Thank you.

Do I screw them towards the front of the truck or towards the rear?

Newly acquired & restored 29 PU: The e-brake handle has no resistance when pulled back and only holds somewhat tightly with one click when fully pulled back. Where would I adjust this? From the lever to the brake shaft rod, OR on the rods going back to the wheel. I did read the SB page 265, but...

Working on my A, and this part of the horn fell off.:mad: I can't seem to get it to fit securely back on. I am afraid it will pop off again from the vibration of driving. I am not an advocate for JB Weld on any Model A :eek:. What do you suggest? :confused: I know it is not an original horn...

I asked on the "other" Model A Forum a few weeks back. We should be expecting the revision about another 10-12 months. :cool:
