Has any Fordor body owners had experience with body wood supplied by Classic Wood in NC?

Can anyone recomend a good body wood supplier for Model A Fordor Sedans? I have a 60-C Briggs Steelback. I have heard that wood kits for different suppliers do not fit and drilled holes do not match up with origianl patterns. These kits are very expensive and I don't want one that does not fit...

Which side do rear brake levers (that attach to brake rods) that slip on break actuators goes toward the backing plate and hub - flat or beveled side? Same question on emergency brake levers.

Turned out to be carb. Installed another cab. after checking compression on each cylinder and ran good. Plenty of power. Old carb was wrapped and sucking air. Thanks for everyone's help.

Thanks guys. Found that the spark is not strong as it should be. Installed coil, points, and condenser but still not as strong as my other car that runs correctly. Any other idea of what could cause weak firing? car runs, idles rough and has low power. backfires out the carb. when accelerated...

Popping back through carb . When accelerated. Bogs down when accelerated and pops. Is this a Carb, intake manifold, or firing issue?

Are aluminum timing gears noisier Than fiber gears? Will a new metal timing and crank Shaft gear mesh in over time and get quiter?

Tom: Is there a shroud on model A radiators other than the radiator the shell?

Anyone had experience with Berg's radiators in Il? Did original radiators for 1929 have vertical tubes two deep or were they three deep? Round or flat?

My engine was rebuilt by a local shop. They did not por rods and mains. When started up engine has a knock like a rod or main for about 5 seconds then runs smooth. Oil seems not to stay in journal over night. Some say to let it go and some say send to James Rogers in NC and have him rebuild.

Any recommendations for rebuilding engine with inserts vs. pouring rods and mains with Babbitt? Any experience with James Rogers in N.C. or Richard F. In Il.?
