Thanks for all the replies . I have dropped the pan and im going to fiddle with the crank ,but it will take a month of Sundays to finish I may have to bite the bullet and sell it .

Both bolts were on the shaft when I removed the starter but the spring was twisted , thats gotta be where I need to look but it did not look like there was parts missing .I hope the flywheel has got all its teeth . Thanks for the help Bob.

Hey guys question about emergency brake 1928 tudor . My brake when engaged you can still push the car but its stops instantly when let go ? So if that is not suppose to happen what does that indicate ? My driving brakes are second to none and stop on a dime . Any ideas thank you .

The drip rail tips are they integrated with vinyl top hidem welt ? Or are hidem welt tips needed still for vinyl top using drip rail tips ? Not sure of the connection or configuration and cant find any pictures . Please help. Thanks

Hey guys . I got a 1928 tudor I am working to get it re restored after my Dad passed . He drove pretty regular . Anyway the glare shield or sun visor was that on 1928 tudors in November of 1928 or not ? I would like it to be as bare as it was New but I can't find any information . Thanks

Hey guys I have a 1928 Tudor and on passenger side the rain gutter is about a half inch shorter than on driver side , the guy that restored it must have missed measured it . I have extra gutters but question is Do these 2 piece gutters just pry off ? I see no screw and I am assuming it's tacked...

I recently replaced shackles and leaf springs on my 1928 Tudor and while wheels were lifted I checked tie rods and ball joints . They have some play , my concern is the back wheels also have the same play . Is this due to a floating axle ? Or is there something else .

I am in the process of fixing up my 1928 Tudor and replacing a few parts . When I removed the radiator I found that the cross member has a slotted hole in the center . I was thinking on filling hole with a mig weld and making a new hole . Would that work or just center the spring and tighten...
