I am building an engine runstand for a model 59 Ford flathhead v8 and am in need of a radiator. Has anyone used 2 separate radiators? or has anyone got a radiator within driving distance of East Jordan Mi. shipping is prohibitive.

according to my records, your car should have a Holley 94 model EAB carburetor. I have started rebuilding these carbs as a sort of a hobby. I have a core for that carb if you decide to install the right one.

If it had been rebuilt lately, the problem is most likely the power valve. The ones available today have a radius next to where the seal sets which wont allow it to seal. pull the carb and the valve and look at the sealing surface. www.charliesspeed.com buys these valves in bulk and machines the...

It's not the washer, it's the valve. You can buy the right one from Charlie's Speed in Fla. www.charliesspeed.com. the new valves are not machined correctly. Charlie buys them in bulk and removes the radius from the shank.

I wound up using Tool Black but wasn't satisfied so finished with VHT black after Zinc coating.

I may be wrong but I believe the 35 and 36 came with a Stromberg 48
