In need of prayers for south Louisiana

There were 40,000 homes destroyed, 110,000 homed damaged, and $20 billion in damages in the Baton Rouge area. Over 100,000 cars destroyed. This is a picture looking down the street where I was working to help my brother recover. This is a common sight all around this area.

In need of prayers for south Louisiana

I can't thank you enough Marcus. You guys are like angels from heaven. I know there will be people from all over the country coming to help like they have in the past after hurricanes. I will be helping my brother restore his home tomorrow. Thanks again to all for all of the prayers and well wishes.

In need of prayers for south Louisiana

Thanks for your prayers and well wishes. We had 25" over the weekend where I live. There is a town north of here that had 31". Most of that rain was Friday and Saturday. We had light rain off and on Sunday.

In need of prayers for south Louisiana

I would like to ask for your prayers for those in south Louisiana that were devastated by the historical floods over the weekend. I have lived in this area for my whole life (almost 55 years). I have seen some horrible hurricanes (Katrina, Gustave, and Andrew to name a few). This is as...

    Battery cut off switch location

I installed mine under the floorboard just in front of the seat riser. there was an existing hole in the cross member in the middle of the car. I used a large hole saw to cut the plywood floorboard for access. I just lift up the carpet as I am sitting in the car ready to start it and there's my...

How to protect your Model A at car shows

I have to be honest. I'm not sure what I would do if she asked me to get in my rumble seat. I think I would attempt to talk her out of it.

How to protect your Model A at car shows

I go to car "shows" to "show" my car. All are welcome to take pictures and sit in the car if they want. I love seeing the smiles. However, I agree to each his own. A lot of Model A guys don't want people touching their cars and I completely understand why.

    Powergen Alternator Install Problem

I had some difficulty getting my belt back on when I installed my Powergen. I worked the belt on and tighten down on the mounting bolts. The belt wasn't too tight and it runs fine. You might want to force the smaller belt on and try it. From what I have heard is the belts need to be a little...

    Steering Box

I just removed mine in my '30 coupe. I removed the pedals, battery (for safety reasons), and starter. The only thing I can add is I had my brother helping and I think a second person will make it much easier. We pulled it out the passenger door after we pulled the steering box through the floor...

    Model A Halogen head lights

The Restorer had an article about the reflectors. They tested several different options and the ones that Brattons has made for them got the best results. I'm not at home, so I can't tell you which issue. Maybe someone here can tell you which issue it was in.
