No one makes a 29 reproduction shell. All of the reproductions are 28 with the round boss on the crank hole. The 29s have a bell shaped boss around the crank hole.

The handle is locked, you cant twist it with the screws in or out.

You cant remove the handle from the latch without being able to turn the handle and you cant remove the latch without removing the handle first.

I just put a rebuilt handle on my 29 Sport Coupe, locked it, tried to unlock it and the cylinder turns completely around and will not retract the lock bar. Is there any way to remove the handle without destroying it??? Thanks, Randy

Would you be able to see movement at the crank pulley when depressing the clutch pressure plate fingers?

Put it up on jack stands and started it up. Same knock as I had in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. The knock was twice as loud if not more when I shifted into reverse. How do you check the crank thrust with engine installed? Thanks
