Thanks very much for the reply. I've been doing a lot of experimentation with the screw position, not that much success. Someone posted a stock window and channel with dimensions for the 5w. Mine were the same, but I had to cut them down, so it must be that the aftermarket window channel kit...

Has anyone had an issue with a 34 glass channel being too long? I've got the Bob Drake kit installed with the really deep door channels front and rear and it appears that the glass channel is just too long. So long in fact that I can't roll up the window fully.

All, although an old thread, I've got a 33 with stars at each end of the number, althought directly after the first star is a double ended arrow then the 6 digits...........any ideas on this?

thanks Phil.........I just wonder if it is possible to purchase a drill bit for the top hinge. As an electrican we have some wall bits that are about a meter long, guess it would be like line boring the top hinge...

Thanks! I'll try this and also look at the SS center carefull. The sides to the tops are very good, seems like just the right amount of being tight.....but the center is really tough and the panels look straight.

Yes, the hinge (curved part) is welded to the each top side piece, with the SS "C" piece joing the two. Either the top side pieces are full of old rust and crud, which I don't know how to remove or I need a new SS center piece.

Would someone tell me the right way to assemble a hood on a 34 ford, I got it together but it sure wasn't easy. I think I'll probably take it apart again for paint........so....Do I put the top halves together first, then the sides? Is there anyway to align or clean the center top hinge?
