I have this oil filter, fittings, instructions state it is for the Ford Model A. I have not been able to find any information. Anybody have one or know about it?

As Tom W. pointed out you are at the wrong edge. Remember the distributor rotates counter clock wise. common mistake.

Excellent !! Blocks are made, ready to temporary fit. My thought is that the blocks should be 'level with the world' and NOT follow the curvature of the bow? Thoughts anyone? Also, when the visor bracket is screwed in place it draws the headliner up right in that spot.... correct?

Anyone with dimensions and locations (pictures always a plus) on the correct dimensions, mounting method for the visor wood block that the interior visor bracket mounts to? I have the original brackets, but all the original wood was missing. I have made all new wood bows and installed.

What is the best installation method and tool to install freeze plugs into the block? use sealant? steel vs brass? convex or concave out?

Thank you! I had not found that bit of needed info. I took some of my pieces into our inspection department and the repo parts were (.010 oversize) 5/8 x 32tpi .... or 27tpi, depending on which part they looked at. one of the thread profiles looked more like ocean waves! no wonder I couldn't get...

Does anyone know for certain the correct, original thread specification for the threaded brass connections?
