Hi Guys Can anyone tell me the wire thickness of the stone guard and the size of the individual squares. Im in South Africa and with the current exchange rate it is not feasable to purchase a stone guard so am hoping to make one for now

Hi guys I have a 31 std phaeton which was purchased with top irons from another vehicle. I am battling to find out the correct positions of the iron side support and stud with reference to say the door opening and top sill. Anyone who could shed some light on this Thanks Kevin

Hi I will let you know if I solve the problem. I personally think installing a modern seal may be the best option in the long run

Looks like Il have to order one and see if it can be welded in place. I have purchased parts from Macs before, is there anywhere else anyone can suggest. Kevin

Hi James Thanks for your reply. I should give some history. The motor was rebuilt about 10yrs ago and has only done around 100km since then. I have attached some pictures(not all the best quality) there is some damage on the main cap where the sump cork gasket fits but i am sure nothing was...

Hi Guys I also have a leak into the flywheel housing. I pulled off the main cap and there was minimal sealant. I did notice that there were no shims> what is the purpose of the shims on the main cap? the channel in the cap is clean although there was nothing connected to the thread on the...
