Just a couple of question. I just got another 6 volt battery for my car. I bought a quick disconnect with the new battery. Which is the best place for it Neg or Positive?
Question number 2
I order a 6 volt/ 60 amp alternator which will be in this weekend.
The only amp meter I could find...
I know the tank is good. I clean it and coated the inside and everything from the tank to the carb is new. Except the glass bowl and holder. New gaskets and screen are also new in the bowl. I'll check the points tomorrow.
After 3 years I finally drove my 1930 Briggs. Grant it I have nothing inside the car but a worn out seat. More body work needs done, but I did get a chance to drive it.
Here's my problem. I have a new Zen 1 Carb. The first 10 minutes the car drove pretty good. Then the back fire began. I...
I took off my original fan and bought a 4 blade steel fan. I haven't tried selling the original fan. I think I might just hang it on the shop wall. I'm not taking no chances.
The wire is at lease 10" long. I am going to try and cut a little hole for the wirer. I haven't tried the 4 screw hole yet. I guess I should try that first. If not I'll go with Brattons for one.
Thanks for all the reply's. They were all useful.

My light mounts at the top of the dash underneath. I have one wirer for the light which connects to the AMP meter. My questions is where do you run the wire to the amp meter? The light I bought has a steel looking cover and is long enough to reach the amp meter. The thing is it would be in the...
From everything I have seen or read the dome light switch has always been on the passage side. But then again I never seen a right hand drive. Sounds like it got switched.
Last Friday I took a long three hr trip in PA to a place called Bills auto parts. He has many model A parts new and used. Some members ask me to take pictures. So I did. It was raining pretty hard and really didn't get any outside pictures.98% of his parts are inside. There was no sign out side...
Got it done. It took three heat try's and they came out. The windshield didn't like it but it's a part now. At lease the windshield glass is in one piece, for later on to get new glass cut. Thanks guys.

This is a problem I have. My vacuum line won't fit behind my garnish. Fine on the bottom but not the top. I tried many times but I guess I might have the wrong garnish.
I got to replace the windshield now anyway. I tried all the above and so far nothing. I'll try heating it again. All paint was removed before hand. If nothing else I guess I'll try drilling. I really hate to but you gotta do what you gotta do.
Thanks for the replies.
Hi everyone. Can some one tell me how do you remove the 6 windshield screws on the frame. I cracked the top part of the windshield already. Not to happy right now. I tried WD40 and other things but can't get them free.
