Is anyone aware of any Flathead groups/clubs in the Sacramento, CA area? More so Roseville to Auburn area. Looking for help with the small things on my cars and would like to get some other opinions in person. Thanks
Anyone recognize this master cylinder? Looking to replace it as its obviously leaking. Its a 2-bolt so a little different from the genaric juice-brake masters. I just need something that will fit
Thanks.
Thanks for the suggestions. I have called the builder and he has not responded. Could be due to health issues but we’ll see. Removed the belt from the alternator and noise seems to have gonna away. Maybe the alternator bearing is toast? I will take it for a longer drive this afternoon to be...
Well i seem to have developed quite the noise that seemd to be coming from the oil pan? The best I can describe is it sounds like some pebbles in the pan and a slapping noise like a frayed belt. Happens in neutral as well as driving, at about 2500rpm. There is no rythm to it like a bad...
Is there any bolt on style roof rack available for a 35 sedan? I wouldnt mind modifying the rack to fit but definitly dont want to drill into my car. Ive seen those drip rail clamp-on type but my 35 doesnt have channels there just kind of a lip.

I was able to make mone by cutting kerfswhere the bend was and forming over the sides. I tried to soak/steam and just wasted money on firewood. Looks tacky from the underside but its usually closed.
Ive taken it out the inside several times now. Actually pretty quick if everything goes the way it should. Maybe 2 hours or so. If you pulled the ****** mount off and obviously the shift tower im sure you could pull it out the bottom.
The 41t is on the heads. Nothing cast on the bellhousing. The vibrations happens in neutral or on the road. Had the flywheel balanced with the clutch cover before install. This happened wth both the stromberg it came with as well as the new speedway 97’s on a 2x2.
Ive got my rebuilt 41T motor swapped into my 35 sedan. It seems as though there is a rough spot right around 2100 -2400 rpm. Is this standard on these flatheads? The original motor had a little vibration right around 2200 rpm as well so im not sure. Ive got an electronic ignition with 2x2...
