tell a Model A related story

The "Desperate" sign on the front of the coupe was part of a Lobby card for a theater. My dad worked at the theater in Dunsmuir CA when he was in highschool. The valve stem covers are what was on the truck when it was new. As far as moving it to your shed...make me an offer!

tell a Model A related story

My first Model A story goes back to 1948. I was an infant. My folks lived in Mount Shasta California. My dad was in San Diego for his periodic, post-war activities with the US Navy. Mom was driving their 1930 coupe down to pick him up. She and I covered a lot of miles together. Periodically, she...

    1931 Panel Delivery

I have recently revived a Facebook page that actually got its start before the Internet! Back in the 1970's a bunch of us with Model A Panel trucks started tracking as many as we could find around the world by snail-mail. Some from that group started a Facebook page but, eventually other things...

    Rear Fenders Wanted

I need a pair of rear fenders for...you won't believe this...a Belly Tank Racer trailer. I'd like a pair of "tear-drop" shaped fenders but I don't really care if they are Ford or something else. I am looking for something in Western Washington or Northwestern Oregon. I will consider any old...

    Odd Bent-spoke Wheels

My mistake. You guys are correct. I was running on my aged memory when I posted this item. I know they were 1/2" wider than the others I have. With that said, I have 3 of the 4.5" (and, yes, they do have a slight recess around the valve stem hole.) and I have 4 of the 4". Some Studebaker guys...
