    Hagerty insurance ?

Used several insurers years ago. Went to Hagerty about 15 years ago. No regrets! Great to work with. Knows our needs. Prices VERY reasonable. Had one claim 8 years ago and was quickly and professionally handled to my complete satisfaction. I give 'em a 10.

    Lost my ignition keys!

You may be able to remove the door lock cylinder and it may have a code number on it which will match the ignition (if original). If it does, many locksmiths can still cut to that code. If not, replacement ignition cylinder is your best bet.

41 flathead just cuts out when running 😕

Had a similar problem. Turned out to be the on-off switch was the culprit.

    Dome light 1936 Fordor

Easier fix might be to use a Dome light from a Coupe (35 or 36) which has the switch built into the assembly. Not factory, but practical.

    35 Original Running Board Questions

I've had several NOS 35-36 Running boards which were all painted flat black underneath. Also the rubber appeared to be some sort of vulcanized process since the small holes in the boards were used for adhesion of the rubber.

    What do you think happened?

Modern rollback operators love to run tie-down straps through modern wheels, which can take the stress. BUT no way our old thinner wire wheels were made to take such pressure. Always tie down classics with axle straps only.
